2. Categories of Data Collected and Processed

This static website provides information about the property. It collects and processes only the following categories of data:

a) Technical browsing data and hosting infrastructure (Cloudflare Pages)

The systems operating this website (Cloudflare Pages infrastructure) receive technical data as part of normal Internet communications, including IP address, browser type, request date and time, and requested URI. These data are used solely to keep the website secure, reliable and available.

Any traffic metrics provided by Cloudflare Web Analytics are processed in aggregate and anonymously, in a cookielessmanner, without storing persistent identifiers on the visitor's device.

b) Data entered in the inquiry form and WhatsApp channel

The interactive availability form runs entirely in the visitor's browser (client-side JavaScript). When a visitor enters a name, dates or number of guests and selects the contact button:

  • No data are stored in the website's databases or sent to the website's servers.
  • The code only creates a link to WhatsApp (https://wa.me/...) with a prefilled message.
  • The visitor chooses whether to send the message through the WhatsApp app or website.

c) Data sent through the contact form

The contact form opens a draft in the visitor's email app, addressed to info@langolodellamole.com, with their name and inquiry details. The website does not send the email automatically or store form data on its server. The visitor chooses whether to send the message through their email service; received data is used to respond to the inquiry.

3. Availability Calendar (iCal Feed)

The website calendar shows unavailable dates by syncing with the host's Booking.com iCalendar (.ics) feed.

No personal data: The system reads only booking start and end dates (DTSTART / DTEND) to mark unavailable days. The website does not receive, display or store names, identity details, prices or other personal details of guests on external platforms.

4. Maps and Third Party Resources

The website maps use the open source Leaflet library and a basic map hosted locally. When a connection is available, map tiles load from OpenStreetMap; otherwise the local map remains visible. Loading tiles involves technical HTTP requests from the browser. No profiling or tracking cookies are set.

All fonts (Plus Jakarta Sans) and Tailwind CSS stylesheets are hosted entirely on this website , with no requests to Google Fonts or external CDNs.

5. Purposes and Legal Basis of Processing

Personal data voluntarily provided by visitors (for example through WhatsApp or email) are processed for these purposes:

  • Replying to pricing and availability inquiries: Legal basis: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps requested before entering into a contract).
  • Website security and operation: Legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (the controller's legitimate interest in protecting the service from abuse).
  • Compliance with legal and tax obligations following a confirmed stay: legal basis Article 6(1)(c) GDPR.

6. Data Recipients and Retention

Data are not shared, sold or disclosed to third parties for commercial or marketing purposes. Technical service providers needed to operate the infrastructure may access data, including Cloudflare Inc. as hosting and CDN provider under standard data protection clauses.

Data from inquiries are kept only as long as needed to respond, then deleted, unless a stay is booked. In that case, the retention periods required by Italian tax and public safety laws apply.

7. Your Rights (Articles 15–22 GDPR)

Visitors may exercise their rights under Articles 15 and following of the GDPR at any time, including:

  • The right to confirm whether their personal data are processed and receive a copy (access).
  • The right to correct or update inaccurate data.
  • The right to request erasure of their data (the right to be forgotten).
  • The right to restrict or object to processing.
  • The right to lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority (Garante per la Protezione dei Dati Personali – garanteprivacy.it).

To exercise these rights, write to host Manuel Irace using the contact details in Section 1.
